The Forum brought together senior government officials, ambassadors, development partners, civil society and the private sector for a focused discussion on making development cooperation in Kenya more transparent, accountable and aligned with national priorities. As Co-Chair, UN Kenya Resident Coordinator Dr Stephen Jackson reaffirmed the UN’s support to Kenya’s development agenda, including BETA, Vision 2030, the SDGs and the country’s green transition. The discussions also highlighted Kenya’s climate leadership, including progress on its enhanced Second Nationally Determined Contribution, the African Leaders Nairobi Declaration and preparations to host the Second Africa Climate Summit. The shared focus was clear: strengthen development financing, support jobs, MSMEs and value creation, and ensure partnerships deliver practical results for people across Kenya.
