Kenya Joint Disability Inclusion Strategy 2025–2027
The Kenya Joint Disability Inclusion Strategy 2025–2027 provides a shared national framework for advancing the rights, inclusion and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities.
Developed through consultations involving 78 partner organisations, the strategy builds on Kenya’s legal and policy commitments, including the Persons with Disabilities Act 2025. It identifies five strategic pillars: economic empowerment, access to facilities and services, disability data and statistics, political empowerment and digital empowerment.
The strategy seeks to improve coordination among government institutions, organisations of persons with disabilities, the United Nations, civil society, development partners and the private sector. It also sets out governance arrangements, implementation priorities and measures for tracking progress.
